About Me

Meet Raquel Lopez Rogers

I am originally from Washington, D.C., but I live in the Raleigh, North Carolina, area with my husband and our three children, who fill our home with a lot of life, spunk, and joy. I enjoy beholding beauty through creation and the arts. I also enjoy rich conversation, exercise, and opening the doors of my home to the many people who come into our lives.

Some of my interests include the intersection of spiritual formation, justice, the global Church, organizational leadership, and the arts.

I am passionate about the spiritual journey in the life of the believer and the process of God forming us into the image of Christ, who unites us to Himself and others. I am on the road of being transformed and am always growing in prayerful listening, while following God’s call to walk with others in their transformative journeys with God.

Training:

o   Masters in Divinity – Fuller Theological Seminary

Beliefs: Renew Formation’s faith, service, and worship is a Christian non-denominational ministry grounded in Scripture, contemplative practices, and focused on a relationship with the triune God. Broadly, Renew Formation affirms historic, orthodox Christianity as represented by the Apostles Creed and the Nicene Creed. The belief is that as God’s children we present all aspects of our lives and souls before God as an offering that transforms our way of living, working, relating, and being in the world.
